Since our establishment in 1975, the NWRA has published the Blue Goose Flyer.

The Flyer is a quarterly newsletter available exclusively for NWRA members. Each newsletter includes:

• Cover Story - a hot topic affecting refuges or Friends groups
• Letter from the President - NWRA president Evan Hirsche's quarterly message to the readers
• Friends Corner - a regular column with ideas, stories and tips just for Friends, profiling one or more groups
• Regional Reports - NWRA has a group of dedicated volunteers, our regional representatives, who take turns covering an issue in their area
• Refuge Issues - a policy-oriented section that deals with some of the national, legislative issues surrounding refuges
• Announcements - Timely news or events happening at refuges or at the NWRA
